About Thomas Cutura
Residing with his family in Ohio, Thomas Cutura places a strong value on time spent with his wife and children. An area of leisure pursuit for Thomas Cutura is mixed martial arts (MMA), and he has successfully competed in the Brazilian jiu-jitsu discipline.
The events Mr. Cutura has participated in include those organized by the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF). In addition to promoting Brazilian jiu-jitsu worldwide, the IBJJF has coordinated with the Confederacao Brasileira de Jiu-Jitsu in developing the sport’s official competition rules.
Taking part in the Worlds Masters Seniors event in 2013, Mr. Cutura competed with the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Pedro Sauer Team in the Master 2 Blue Belt event that is reserved for those who were born in or before 1983. He took home a bronze medal from the well-attended Southern California competition.
Thomas Cutura holds a bachelor’s degree earned at Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, Ohio. Throughout his undergraduate career, he was a football letterman who helped his team achieve success as Ohio Athletic Conference champions.
